earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Utah Valley University emphasizing Political Philosophy & Public Law in 2025 and is now pursuing a Master of Arts in Constitutional Government, Civics, & Law at UVU. They are currently a team member of the 1857 Minnesota Constitutional Convention project. They plan to use their experience with the Quill project to enrich their graduate studies with the intent of earning a PhD to facilitate postdoctoral research in political theory, focusing particularly on deliberative democratic theory and political ethics from a libertarian perspective.

Description: Following the rejected 'Sioux Falls' Convention of 1885, the South Dakota Convention met and began the drafting process in July of 1889. They used the articles of the Sioux Falls Convention as starting propositions to begin the amendment process. The South Dakota Constitution was ratified in October 1889.
