(7 August, 1826 -- 16 July, 1877) McLean was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Carbon County, Pa., McLean studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1849. In 1862, McLean moved to Montana and was elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-eighth and Thirty-ninth Congresses.
