The Convention met pursuant to adjournment, and was called to order by the PRESIDENT.
Prayer by Rev. Mr. PENMAN.
The Journal of Saturday was read and approved.
On motion of Mr. SETZER, the Convention adjourned until half-past two P. M.

The Convention met pursuant to adjournment, and was called to order by the PRESIDENT.
Mr. GILMAN, on leave, introduced the following Resolution:
"Resolved, That the Secretary of this Convention be requested to obtain from the Superintendent of Indian Affairs an exhibit of the amount of Indian lands within the limits of the proposed State, the number of Indians therein, together with the amount of the annuities paid to them, and report the same to this Convention."
Which Resolution was adopted.
Mr. A. E. AMES, from the Committee on Enrollment, presented the following Report:
"Your Committee on Enrollment report as correctly engrossed the following Article, to wit: 'Miscellaneous Subjects.'
A. E. AMES,
J. H. SWAN,
Committee."
Mr. MURRAY moved to adjourn.
Which motion was lost.
Mr. M. E. AMES moved that the rules be suspended in order to allow the following Resolution to be introduced.
Which motion was carried.
Mr. A. E. AMES then offered the following Resolution:
"Resolved, That the Committee on Phraseology and Revision is hereby requested to report such articles back to the Convention as they have considered, to-morrow morning."
Pending the consideration of which,
Mr. BAASEN moved a call of the Convention.
Which motion was carried.
Thereupon the Sergeant-at-Arms was directed to report the absent members in their seats.
Mr. M. E. AMES moved that the Committee on Conference be excused from attendance this day.
Which motion was lost.
Mr. CHASE moved that Mr. SHEPLEY be excused from attendance two days.
Which motion was lost.
Mr. STACEY moved that further proceedings under the call be dispensed with.
Which motion was carried.
Mr. A. E. AMES moved that the Convention take a recess of half an hour.
Mr. CURTIS moved to amend by substituting fifteen minutes.
Which motion was lost.
Mr. MURRAY moved to amend by substituting five minutes.
Which motion was lost.
The question recurring on the motion of Mr. A. E. AMES, it was decided in the negative.
Mr. BARRETT moved to adjourn.
Which motion was lost.
Mr. BARRETT moved that the Convention take a recess of forty minute.
Which motion was rejected.
Mr. TAYLOR moved to adjourn.
Which motion was rejected.
Mr. WAIT moved that the Convention take a recess of twenty-six minutes.
Which motion was lost.
Mr. MURRAY moved to adjourn.
Which motion was lost.
Mr. TAYLOR moved a call of the Convention.
Which motion was carried.
On motion of Mr. M. E. AMES, further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
On motion of Mr. GORMAN, the Convention took a recess of ten minutes.
After the recess had expired, the Convention was called to order by the PRESIDENT.
Mr. GILMAN, on leave, introduced the following Resolution:
"Resolved, That the Committee of Conference appointed by this body be instructed to make their final report to the Convention as early as practicable to-morrow."
Which Resolution was adopted.
On motion of Mr. STREETER, the Convention adjourned.
