E. AMES, of Hennepin county, a committee of five was appointed as such committee, Mr. AMES of Hennepin county, Mr. BROWN of Sibley County, Mr. NORTH of Rice county, Mr. NORRIS of Washington county, and Mr. THOMPSON of Houston county.\n\n\tOn motion of Mr. BROWN, the Rules of the last House of Representatives, so far as applicable, were adopted for the temporary government of the Convention.\n\n\tOn motion, the Secretary was then instructed to call the roll of the Districts, in order that Delegates might come forward and deposit their credentials with the Secretary, to be by him delivered to the Committee on Credentials.\n\n\tThe roll of Districts was then called, when the Delegates came forward and deposited their credentials with the Secretary.\n\n\tOn motion of Mr. BECKER, of Ramsey county, Delegates to the Convention now absent from their seats, were empowered to deliver their credentials to the Chairman of the Committee on Credentials, or to any member thereof, to be by them reported to the Convention.\n\n\tOn motion of Mr. BECKER, the Convention then adjourned until to-morrow at 12 o'clock M.\n\nH. The Convention assembled in the Council Chamber after being refused entry to the Representatives Hall. Several officers were appointed, notably H. H. Sibley as President pro tempore, before the Enabling Act was read. A committee on credentials was formed. The Rules of the Last House of Representatives were provisionally adopted.
