This document is an agreement between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the Republic of Ireland establishing the Independent International Commission on Decommissioning. It outlines the establishment of the Commission to facilitate the decommissioning of firearms, ammunition, explosives, and explosive substances in accordance with specific Acts and regulations. The Commission is to be independent and will consult with relevant parties, observe decommissioning processes, appoint members, and report to both governments.
