This document contains a press release made by US Congressman Peter King on 11 July 1996. In the statement, King condemned the British Army and the RUC [Royal Ulster Constabulary] for the reversal of their decision regarding whether to let the Orange Order march pass Garvaghy Road. He questioned their impartiality and accused them of escalating the crisis, and also accused the UUP [Ulster Unionist Party] of using the marching season as an implement to derail the peace process. Some contact information has been redacted from the document.
