A transcript of an interview with Gary McMichael, UDP [Ulster Democratic Party] leader, and David Ervine, PUP [Progressive Unionist Party] spokesman, which aired on Radio Ulster on 22 July 1996. The interview covered McMichael and Ervine's anticipations of a meeting with John Major, British Prime Minister, later that day. McMichael and Ervine discussed their desire for more momentum in the multi-party negotiations, among other topics. The first page has a handwritten annotation by Edward Oakden addressed to Major, and parts of the text are highlighted.
