This UUP minutes document the proceedings of the third session of the talks held on Monday, 10 June 1996, which commenced at 6:10 PM, Mayhew requested an additional 20 minutes for further consultations, citing the difficult start of the process. Robinson questioned the necessity of this extension. Paisley suggested a one-hour adjournment, while Mallon expressed his expectation that a Chairman and a plenary session would have been agreed upon by that day. Mayhew emphasized the importance of resolving the issues of a Chairman and the procedure within the day but ultimately proposed reconvening the talks the following morning at 09.00 AM. This proposal was accepted by the participants and the meeting ended at 6:47 PM.
