The minutes from the Business Committee meeting on 25 February 1998, chaired by General John de Chastelain and Prime Minister Harri Holkeri, document decisions and recommendations for the negotiation process. The committee approved the minutes from the previous meeting and discussed extending the 'talks' working week, recommending maximizing available time and considering 'doubling up' of meetings. They also proposed a schedule for the week commencing 2 March including various Strand and Liaison subcommittee meetings. Labour emphasized the importance of focusing on substantive issues in Strand meetings, and the next committee meeting was tentatively scheduled for the week of March 9.
