This document is a Talks bulletin from the Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) dated 24 June 1996, informing UUP representatives and Forum delegates on the recent developments of the Talks. It reports on a procedural committee meeting chaired by Mr Holkeri, which was quickly adjourned to allow for further bilateral discussions on procedures. The UUP engaged in meetings with the British Government (HMG), Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), United Kingdom Unionist Party (UKUP), and the Irish Government. During the meeting with Sir Patrick Mayhew and Michael Ancram, they reviewed proposals to amend procedural guidelines but did not reach an agreement. The discussions with the DUP and UKUP were productive despite differing emphases, while the Irish Government reiterated their preference for the 'Groundrules' document, which they suggested could be imposed if no alternative procedures were agreed upon.
