Ken Maginnis, MP, in his article for Labour's 'Tribune' publication dated 21 September 1997, criticizes the British government's approach to including Sinn Féin and the PIRA in the peace negotiations. He emphasizes the Ulster Unionist Party's dedication to democratic principles and warns against the dangers of accommodating groups that retain the right to use violence for political ends.
