Letter from the British and Irish governments to the participants, setting up a next meeting and asking for submissions on their paper 'A New Agreement'

Writing Peace: David Trimble Collection

The British and Irish Governments, in a communication dated 7 November 1997, addressed to the participating political parties, proposed the arrangement of a further Strand Three liaison meeting following the Business Committee meeting on 29 October 1997. They suggested that this meeting would be most productive after reviewing responses to their paper titled 'Strand Three - A New Agreement,' dated October 14. The governments requested that any party wishing to submit a response should do so by 14 November with the intention of circulating these responses to all participating parties. They proposed holding the Strand Three liaison meeting on November 18 at Castle Buildings, or alternatively, offered to meet parties bilaterally between November 17-26 if preferred.
