The Northern Ireland Women's Coalition, in their proposal for the agenda of the opening plenary, concurs with the Alliance Party's verbal amendment that the comprehensive agenda should be discussed and adopted before addressing decommissioning. They suggest a logical order for the opening plenary upon return in September, starting with opening statements, followed by the consideration and adoption of the comprehensive agenda for negotiations. The agenda should then move to the consideration of the International Body's proposals on decommissioning, including discussions and necessary decisions to enable further progress. Finally, the implementation of the twin-track/parallel process should be launched, with the establishment of machinery to carry forward work on decommissioning, concluding with remarks by the Independent Chairman.
